ALAN CEMOREBaritone
The Italian/American baritone Alan Cemore was born in Wisconsin, USA. He commenced his musical studies in Iowa, but also studied in Frankfurt and Indiana University, where he was the first recipient of the Cole Porter Memorial Fellowship.
Alan Cemore began his career as principal lyric baritone in Wiesbaden, where his roles included FigaroIL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA. He has subsequently been principal baritone in Basel, Graz and Bremen where his repertoire has included the title role DON GIOVANNI, Germont LA TRAVIATA, Renato UN BALLO IN MASCHERA, Luna IL TROVATORE, Stankar STIFFELIO, Iago OTELLO, Scarpia TOSCA, Lescaut MANON LESCAUT, Marcello LA BOHÈME, Sharpless MADAMA BUTTERFLY, Michonnet ADRIANA LECOUVREUR, Escamillo CARMEN, Conte Almaviva LE NOZZE DI FIGARO, Faninal DER ROSENKAVALIER, Falke DIE FLEDERMAUS, Speaker DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE, Fluth DIE LUSTIGE WEIBER VON WINDSOR, Heerrufer LOHENGRIN, Wolfram TANNHÄUSER and Alfio and Tonio in a double-bill of CAVALLERIA RUSTICANA/I PAGLIACCI.
